I know a lot of people have greater problems than I had,

Not being concerned about my health was bad.

Exercising more and eating the right foods should have been a must,

Had I practiced this, I would have been healthier, I trust.

Being negligent can have its unrewarding results,

Painful suffering and discomfort can be like a bad pulse.

Paying for our mistakes is like a bad omen,

Hence, from now on, my health is important, Amen.

At my stage of life it is pertinent to have a healthy body,

So later on as years pass by I don't become shoddy.

As the restoration of my health becomes tangible,

I shall again pray and thank God I am again manageable.
